A two-chamber rear loader that enables collection of two waste fractions on the same route. The Terberg DualPack Viking divides the collection body into two separate chambers with adjustable distribution.
The Solution
The Terberg DualPack Viking with 65/35 chamber split is mounted on a Scania P-series 6x2 chassis. The solution allows the operator to collect, for example, residual waste and food waste in a single trip, reducing the number of trips and thereby both costs and emissions.
The tailgate is equipped with an automatic tipper that can direct waste to the correct chamber based on which fraction is being emptied.
Result
The customer achieved more efficient collection with fewer trips, and the solution is in daily operation.
